I dont think that the USCIS can staff all the Port of Entries with officers who are well versed in every single visa type.
It can hardly be expected that a typical POE officer is aware of all the requirements and intricasies of the H1B visa; LCA, prevaling wage, bench, client/employer, paystubs, client letter etc.
Nevertheless it is possible that there might be some POE officers placed at certain places (strategically ? ) in light of recent efforts to enforce H1B and DOL regulations more stringently; especially in light of the recent report highlighting the large amount of frauds and violations in the H1B program. In that case; one should still be fine if one has long term client project, all paystubs, tax returns etc.
Is there any way Immigration voice can find out if there has been a change of policy to enforce H1B regulations at the Port of Entry? (In addition to consular interviews and applying for the H1B itself)

Will they hold the application in TX Srv Center and not release it till the lawsuit is completed? Will it prevent people from re-applying if their PDs become Current in Oct? Any ideas?

the change in salary ($76K to 120K) is a cause for concern. It depends how long ago you filed your labor. If it has been greater than 5 years, IMO the salary change may be ok. Rather than the titles, the job duties have to reasonably match.

This was the first time I called up the USCIS help desk (1-800-375-5283) to find about AC21 180 days rule, when she asked what is this for I informed for change of employer.
I would like to know if that statement would be noted and would it create me any problems in future, as of now I don�t have any plans to change employer.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
My Case Details:
PD: EB2- 2006.
I-140 Cleared.
EAD: Received.

I guess Wacom advertises their tablets more vigorously than Genius? Who knows... have you compared Genius and Wacom side by side and discovered that Genius is far superior? Personally, I selected Wacom because it's the only brand that isn't obscure and I've read a number of positive things about Wacom. It's pricey but a good investment. I have a appointment at calgary, canada for my H1 extension visa stamping. Any one has experience in Calgary.
My spouse entered the US on H4, she has a MBBS degree from india and she got H1 sponsored by a reputed university to do research.
I read on the posts that first time H4 to H1 stamping might pose a issue in canada if a person does not have degrees from US or Canada.
Please let me know.

Shouldn't the whole decision be given in 15 calender days ? My 7th year H1 ext was filed 11 days ago. No clue of a receipt number yet.

I entered US last december 2007 with a visitors visa,allowed me to stay for 6 mos.,last march 2008 I married my fiance who has a H1b visa and is working right now here in the US and last May 2008 I Applied for a change of status from visitors to H4 dependent..Until now the case is pending but right now we had a family crisis back home and I have to go back home asap...what will happen with my application if I go home...Will I still be able to come back here and will I be out of status if I leave my pending application here???

As far as I know priority date can ony be transfered when the I-140 is approved. Go ahead and get both I-140 approved and use the earlier date towards the new one at the time of filing of I-485.

I initially got my H1 B approved under the quota for 2006 but later on moved on to work for a non profit organization on H1B. Now I am offered a job at a for profit company A, can I just transfer my non profit H1B to a for profit H1B(since I have already been counted under the H1-B visa quota for 2006) or I have to again go through the new H1 B visa quota for 2008-2009.

I have question about I485, Part2, Application type.
If my I140 is pending, which type do I (principal applicatn) and my wife (spouse) have to check?
Some people said that I can check "a" and my wife can check "b".
Other people said that I can check "h" with "EB2 NIW" and my wife can also check "h" with "filing concurren
